Professor Chennupati Jagadish is a Distinguished Professor and Head of the Semiconductor Optoelectronics and Nanotechnology Group in the Research School of Physics, at The Australian National University. He has published widely in semiconductor physics, materials science, optoelectronics and nanotechnology. He has received many Australian and international awards, including a UNESCO medal for his contributions to the development of nanoscience and nanotechnologies, and has been an Australian Research Council (ARC) Federation Fellow and an ARC Laureate Fellow.
Richard Holden is professor of economics at UNSW Business School, and President of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. He is one of Australia’s leading economists. Professor Holden received a PhD from Harvard University and was a faculty member at MIT and the University of Chicago before returning to Australia.
Ingrid Scheffer AO is a physician-scientist whose work as a paediatric neurologist and epileptologist at the University of Melbourne and Austin Health has led the field of epilepsy genetics over more than 20 years, in collaboration with Professor Samuel Berkovic and molecular geneticists.
