“Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”
ACOLA celebrates International Women’s Day as a global day of recognising the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of all women.
The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
In recognition of this year’s theme “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”, ACOLA would like to acknowledge and celebrate the tremendous efforts by women in shaping a more equal future.
In particular, ACOLA would like to recognise the following women who are leaders and provide inspiration and support to not only ACOLA and their organisations, but also the broader community.
Women of all ages are stepping up to leadership – with young women particularly challenging entrenched attitudes – and we all need to continue to fight for equity and respect.
