Craig Ritchie is a Dhunghutti man and is the Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS).
Craig’s career spans senior roles include work heading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander higher education, university access and participation for people from low-SES backgrounds and international student mobility. He was founding Director, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health in the ACT Government. Craig’s community sector work includes serving as CEO of the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO), and Chair of the Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community Services.
In November 2021, Craig was made an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities
