Professor Mark Andevejic is Professor in the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash University.
Mark is Professor in the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash University where he leads the Automated Society Working Group and is CI and Node Convenor for the Monash Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision Making and Society.
His research focuses on digital media and surveillance and is currently lead CI on an ARC Discovery Project researching Australian attitudes toward facial recognition technology. He is the author of four monographs and more than 80 academic articles and book chapters. His co-authored book on facial recognition technology is scheduled for publication next year with Polity Press.
He was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities (AAH) in 2020.
