Mark is Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Queensland Business School and Visiting Professor at Imperial College Business School, London.
Over the past 30 years he has researched and taught innovation in 60 countries. He has produced 16 books and over 100 academic articles and book chapters on innovation.
He spent 10 years as Senior Fellow at the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex and 10 years at the Australian National University where he was Executive Director of the National Graduate School of Management.
Mark has been a director of Nestlé Australia, Thiess Pty Ltd., and the Think, Play, Do Group. He has been an advisor to companies and governments on their innovation strategies and policies in many countries around the world.
