This seminar is part of a collaboration between the Parliamentary Library and the Australian Council of Learned Academies (ACOLA) to bring Australia’s leading minds from Australia’s Learned Academies and other experts to important topics of interest to Parliament.
Health: How to focus on the sustainability of Australia’s health care system?
During the seminar, Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite delivered an insightful exploration into designing and delivering a research-informed health system that ensures sustainability in cost, efficiency, and quality for patients by 2030. Covering preventive measures to advanced treatments, as a society we have various choices to make, especially as our society ages and the demand on our health system increases.
This was a conversation led by Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite.
The seminar was held on 10 April 2024 and recorded by the Parliamentary Library.
